Madam / Sir,

                With reference to letter referred above, the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, Lucknow Region has been bestowed with the responsibility of conducting the ‘Golden Jubilee State Rally of KVS BS&G’ at Lucknow.  KVS Lucknow region is eagerly waiting to play a perfect host to your contingent on its arrival at Lucknow.  Details regarding hosting of State Rally are given below –

1.       Rally Activities Venue                                   - Kendriya Vidyalaya Gomti Nagar, Lucknow

2.       Stay Venue for Guides & GCs                    - Kendriya Vidyalaya Gomti Nagar, Lucknow

3.       Stay venue for Scouts & SMs                      - Kendriya Vidyalaya Lucknow Cantt, Lucknow

4.       Duration of the Rally                                      - 27.11.2013 to 30.11.2013

5.       Date of Reporting (Officials)                      - 25.11.2013 F/N (16 officials as per KVS HQ, Letter)

                          (Contingents)                          - 26.11.2013 F/N

6.       KIT                                                                          - S/G Uniform as per APRO-II/III, changeover Clothes,          

                                                                           Personal toiletries, material for competitions etc.

7.       D.A (boarding & lodging)                              - @ Rs. 300/- per day / person   (both S/G & Officials )                                                                    

8.       Strength of a contingent                              - 16 (S) + 16 (G) + 02 SM + 02 GC + 01 Cont. Ldr = 37.  

                                                                           S/G who is Tritiya Sopan pass and above are only 

                                                                           eligible to participate. Preference should be given to

                                                                           Rajya Puraskar and Rashtrapati Puraskar S/G

                                                                           Fun & Skill Activities

10.   Reception at Lucknow Rly. Stn.                 - Please inform us about your arrival at Lucknow. A    

                                                                           team of Teachers and S/G will be stationed at

                                                                           Lucknow Rly Stn (Both NR & NER) on 25^th & 

                                                                           26^th Nov, 2013 to receive your contingent. Kindly

                                                                           inform us about your schedule of arrival in the

                                                                           proforma (Annexure- I) attached.

 

Notes for Special Attention:-

1.       Guidelines for Rally Activities are enclosed for the benefits of all concerned.

2.       Kindly provide the list of Participants, Escorts and Contingent Leader in the proforma given (Annexure- II) by E-mail latest by 31.10.2013.

3.       A stall of Timber (bamboos, wooden poles, Staves etc.) and different types of ropes will be setup at the activity venue. Your contingent may hire on payment the above articles for making Gate, Camp craft and pioneering projects etc.  It would be nice if your contingent inform us about the requirement of timber and ropes etc. in advance in proforma given. (Annexure- III)

4.       Local transport from Lucknow Railway station to Stay Venues will be made available on payment. Kindly inform in advance if your contingent needs local transport to be arranged by us.
