30.07.11. Out of 100, 24 Scouts & 04 Guides got eligibility for attending
Rajya Puraskar Testing CAMP 2011.
RAJYA
PURASKAR RESULT
24 Scouts & 04 Guides attended the RAJYA PURASKAR TESTING CAMP 2011 held at
KV Maligoan, Assam.w.e.f. 02.08.11 to 06.08,11. All 24 Scouts & 04 Guides received their certificates and got
eligible for Rashtrapati award testing camp for 2011.
TRITIYA SOPAN TESTING CAMP
Tritiya Sopan Testing Camp was conducted at K.V Panchgram w.e.f. 27.08.11 to 30.08.11. The no. of
participants were 83Scouts and 12 Guides, 13 no of escorts and 04 no of
Trainers.
PATROL LEADER TRAINING CAMP
Patrol leader training camp was
conducted at K.V Duliajan, Assam w.e.f. 05.12.11.to 07.12,11. The no. of participants were 86 Scouts and 10
Guides, 15 no of escorts and 03 no of Trainers.
BASIC
& ADVANCE COURSE
The Basic Training Programme for 30
Basic Scout Masters and the Advance Training Programme for 48 Scout Masters were
conducted at K.V Sivasagar w.e.f. from 10.12.11 to 17.12.11. Mr. G. Bhuvan Babu, ALT(S) and Mr. Ambika Prasad Sharma, ALT(S) of Assam State were the leader of the course for basic and Advanced courses respectively.
NATIONAL INTIGRATION CAMP
National intigration camp was conducted
at State Training Centre, Aizawl w.e.f. 18.01.12 to 24.01.12. The no. of
participants were 08 Scouts from KV Lumding under the leadership of Mr. R.L. Rajak, DOC(S). Mr. G. Bhuvan Babu, ALT(S) Divisional Secretary was invited as National Staff for the event. Our Scouts bagged 2nd Prize in Indial Festivals Competition and first in overall Morning Inspection.
REGIONAL TREKKING CAMP
Regional trekking camp was conducted
at K.V ONGC, Agartala & Tripura
State Scouts & Guides H/Q w.e.f. 11.02.12
to 1202.12.. The no. of participants
were 83 Scouts and 25 Guides, 11 no of escorts. The event was inaugurated by Mr. Vinod Kumar Pandey, Principal of KV ONGC Agartala followed by a presentation of trekking dos and donts. The next day participants were taken for a hike of 10 kms where they played a wide game in the jungle. THis was followed by visit to local Power Station and Demo by the Fire Service of ONGC Agartala. On the Second day, the participants were taken to Baramura Hills for Trekking. There participants explored the jungle, creeped through the bushes and terrains, climbed the steep rocks etc. The programme came to an end on the third day with All Faith Prayer meeting. Mr. G. Bhuvan Babu, ALT/S was the Leader of the Programme ably assisted by Mr. D. Chakraborthy, DTC(S), Mrs. Roel Mary Rose, DTC(G) and Mr. RK Gupta, DQM.
On experimental basis Dwitiya
Sopan and Pratham Sopan camps were organized at the Unit level, so that maximum
number of participation is encouraged.
